Exam-wise Notes
SSC JE 2026
Paper-I for Civil, Electrical and Mechanical (and IMD Scientific Assistant) runs from 2 to 6 November 2026. JE (Telecommunication) Paper-I is on 30 November to 1 December 2026. SSC says admit cards come 2 to 3 days before each exam date.
Paper-I has 200 questions for 200 marks in 2 hours. It covers reasoning, general awareness and your engineering subject. It is qualifying, but SSC shortlists for Paper-II on merit. There are 1,699 tentative vacancies at Pay Level-6.
SSC SI in Delhi Police and CAPFs 2026
As per SSC’s corrigendum of 26 October 2026, this exam now runs from 23 to 28 November 2026. Candidates who clear Paper-I move on to the physical tests and Paper-II. Our CPO post explains the full pattern.
SSC CHSL 2026 Tier-I
Tier-I starts on 30 November and ends on 31 December 2026. Because the window is long, your exact date and shift will come with your admit card.
SSC GD 2026 PET/PST
SSC declared the GD result on 12 October 2026 and shortlisted 1,97,408 candidates for PET/PST. The CAPFs will hold the physical tests in due course, and CRPF will issue call letters.
How to Prepare for Upcoming Government Exams
- Fix your dates first. Write each exam date in a planner. Then count the days left.
- Move to full mocks. In the last month, take timed mock tests. After each test, note your weak topics.
- Revise, do not start new topics. Instead, revise short notes and formulas.
- Read current affairs daily. Also, revise the last six months of news for General Awareness.
- Prepare documents early. Keep your photo ID and admit card ready a day before the exam.

Admit Card Tips for Upcoming Government Exams
SSC releases admit cards only on its website. It does not send them by post. Generally, the download opens a few days before each exam. Therefore, log in early and check your shift, venue and reporting time. If you forgot your login, see our SSC OTR guide.
