SSC GD Result 2026 is out. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) declared it on 12 October 2026 for the Constable (GD) in CAPFs and SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026. In total, 1,97,408 candidates are now provisionally shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). This page explains the shortlist numbers, the cut-off, the qualifying marks and what you should do next.

So far, SSC has not given a PET/PST date. Therefore, treat any date you see elsewhere with caution until CRPF or SSC publishes it.
Category-wise Shortlist in SSC GD Result 2026
The official result notice gives separate figures for female candidates, male candidates for forces other than SSF, and male candidates for SSF. The table below copies those totals.

Note that the UR column also includes reserved-category candidates who qualified at the UR standard. In addition, SSC has withheld 60 candidates for various reasons and has not processed 88 debarred candidates.
SSC GD Cut-Off 2026 and Qualifying Marks
First, every candidate had to cross the minimum qualifying marks. After that, SSC fixed cut-offs using normalised scores plus NCC bonus marks.

For all other forces, the cut-off differs by State/UT, category and area (General, Border and Naxal/Militancy affected). You can find these in Annexure-I (female) and Annexure-II (male) of the official result notice. Because the list is very long, we suggest you open the PDF and search for your State/UT.
How to Check SSC GD Result 2026
- First, open the official website ssc.gov.in.
- Next, go to the Result section and select the Constable (GD) 2026 result.
- Then open List-I (female candidates) or List-II (male candidates other than SSF), as per your case.
- After that, press Ctrl+F and search for your roll number.
- Finally, download the PDF and keep a copy for the PET/PST stage.
Later, SSC will upload final answer keys, response sheets and marks. You will need your Registered ID and password to see them.
What Happens After the Result: PET/PST
The CAPFs will conduct the PET/PST. However, the call letters will come from the Nodal CAPF, which is CRPF. Therefore, keep checking rect.crpf.gov.in as well as the SSC website.
Meanwhile, use this time well. For example, practise running daily, and keep your documents ready: matriculation certificate, category certificate, domicile certificate and NCC certificate (if you claimed bonus marks). Also, keep a valid photo ID that matches your application.
Withheld and Debarred Candidates
The result notice also lists withheld candidates (List-III) and debarred candidates (List-IV). If your roll number appears in List-III, your result is on hold. In that case, follow the instructions in the official notice and contact the Commission through the channels it gives.
