• An international team of astronomers funded in part by NASA has found the farthest galaxy group identified as “EGS77“.
• EGS77, the trio of galaxies dates to a time when the universe was only 680 million years old, or less than 5% of its current age of 13.8 billion years. EGS77 is the farthest group of galaxies to have ever been sighted. EGS77 was discovered as part of the Cosmic Deep And Wide Narrowband (Cosmic DAWN) survey.
• The team of astronomers was led by an Indian-origin Goa-born scientist, Vithal Tilvi.

• Srikkanth and Anjum will be conferred with the Lifetime Achievement award by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for their contributions to Indian cricket
• Indian shooter Saurabh Chaudhary has won the men’s 10 meters air pistol gold medal at the 63rd National Shooting Championship in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
• Second-placed Sarabjot Singh of Haryana, while world number two Abhishek Verma settled for bronze in a high-quality final.
• Abhishek and Sarabjot together won the team gold for Haryana. Sarabjot also won the junior men’s gold.

• The United Nations has declared Pakistani education activist and Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai as “Most Famous Teenager of The Decade”.
• The revelation has been made in its ‘Decade in Review’ report. Malala is working towards children’s rights ever since she was a teenager.
• In recognition of her efforts, she was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 and also become the yougest recipient of the award.

संयुक्त राष्ट्र ने पाकिस्तानी शिक्षा कार्यकर्ता और नोबेल पुरस्कार विजेता मलाला यूसुफजई को ‘दशक का सबसे प्रसिद्ध किशोर’ घोषित कर दिया है।

यह रहस्योद्घाटन अपनी ‘ दशक इन रिव्यू ‘ रिपोर्ट में किया गया है । मलाला जब से किशोर थीं तब से बच्चों के अधिकारों की दिशा में काम कर रही हैं।

• India has extended a line of credit (LoC) of USD 75 million (over Rs 500 crore) to Cuba.
• The line of credit is being provided to finance solar parks in Cuba.
• The line of credit is as per agreement signed between Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank) and Banco Exterior De Cuba for installation of 75 MW Photovoltaic Solar Parks in the Republic of Cuba.

भारत ने क्यूबा को 75 करोड़ डॉलर (500 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक) की लाइन ऑफ क्रेडिट (एलओसी) बढ़ा दी है।

क्यूबा में सोलर पार्कों के वित्तपोषण के लिए लाइन ऑफ क्रेडिट प्रदान किया जा रहा है ।

ऋण की रेखा निर्यात-आयात बैंक ऑफ इंडिया (एक्जिम बैंक) और बैंको बाहरी डी क्यूबा के बीच क्यूबा गणराज्य में ७५ मेगावाट फोटोवोल्टिक सौर पार्क ों की स्थापना के लिए हस्ताक्षरित समझौते के अनुसार है।

 

 

• Kolkata Police has started the 3rd edition of ‘Sukanya‘ project. The project aims to provide self-defense training to girls studying in schools and colleges in the city.
• The third batch of ‘Sukanya’ started at 100 city-based schools and colleges situated in Kolkata Police jurisdiction.
• Sukanya project is an initiative of the Kolkata Police’s Community Policing Wing to provide self-defense training to girl students of city-based schools, colleges, and universities.

कोलकाता पुलिस ने सुकन्या परियोजना का तीसरा संस्करण शुरू कर दिया है। इस प्रोजेक्ट का मकसद शहर के स्कूलों और कॉलेजों में पढ़ने वाली लड़कियों को सेल्फ डिफेंस की ट्रेनिंग देना है।

• Common Service Centres (CSC) e-Governance Services India has signed a memorandum of understanding with Paytm Payments Bank Ltd (PPBL) for sale of FASTags.
• The agreement will facilitate the sale of PPBL FASTags through the last mile network of 3.6 lakh CSCs, helping realize the government’s vision of cashless and smooth transit at all toll plazas across the country.
• FASTags which work on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology have been made mandatory at toll gates on national highways.
• The FASTag process allows toll payments directly from the prepaid or savings account linked to it, thus doing away with the need for waiting in queues, saving time and fuel.

कॉमन सर्विस सेंटर्स (सीएससी) ई-गवर्नेंस सर्विसेज इंडिया ने फास्टैग्स की बिक्री के लिए पेटीएम पेमेंट्स बैंक लिमिटेड (पीपीबीएल) के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं।

इस समझौते से 3.6 लाख सीएससी के अंतिम छोर के नेटवर्क के माध्यम से पीपीबीएल फास्टैग की बिक्री में मदद मिलेगी, जिससे देश भर के सभी टोल प्लाजा पर कैशलेस और चिकनी पारगमन के सरकार के दृष्टिकोण को साकार करने में मदद मिलेगी।
राष्ट्रीय राजमार्गों पर टोल गेटों पर रेडियो फ्रीक्वेंसी आइडेंटिफिकेशन (आरएफआईडी) तकनीक पर काम करने वाले फास्टैग अनिवार्य कर दिए गए हैं।

FASTag प्रक्रिया प्रीपेड या बचत खाते से सीधे टोल भुगतान की अनुमति देता है इससे जुड़े, इस प्रकार कतारों में इंतजार करने, समय और ईंधन की बचत के लिए की जरूरत के साथ दूर कर।

 

• A 13-year-old Dubai-based Indian girl Sucheta Satish has won the 100 Global Child Prodigy Award in Delhi.
• She was awarded for singing in most languages during one concert and the longest live singing concert by a child.
• Global Child Prodigy Award is a platform to showcase the talent of children in dance, music, art, writing, acting, modeling, science, sports, etc.
• The award is supported by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation and Oscar Award-winning music producer AR Rahman among others.
• Aayushi Dholakia has bagged the title of Miss Teen International 2019.
• She also bagged the titles of Best in National Costume Award and Best in Speech Award.
• Girls from 22 countries participated in the event to win the coveted title. Yessenia Garcia from Paraguay and Anicia Gaothusi from Botswana became the First and second Runners-Up respectively.
