- Next, find the entry for Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/SPLDRIVE/2026-27/16 (Junior Associates Backlog).
- Then click on the Preliminary Exam Result link.
- After that, accept the disclaimer by clicking “I Agree”.
- Now enter your Roll Number or Registration Number, your Date of Birth and the CAPTCHA.
- Finally, submit the form, view your marks and save a copy for your records.

How Candidates Are Shortlisted for Mains
The advertisement explains the shortlisting rule clearly. SBI shortlists about 10 times the number of vacancies for the Main exam, subject to availability. The shortlisting is done category-wise, based on aggregate Prelims marks.
- There are no minimum qualifying marks for individual sections in Prelims.
- There is also no minimum qualifying mark for the Prelims aggregate.
- Prelims marks are not counted in the final merit list.
In other words, Prelims is only a screening stage. Your final selection depends on your Main exam marks and the Local Language Proficiency Test.

After the SBI Clerk Backlog Result 2026, shortlisted candidates should start Mains preparation at once. The Main exam carries 200 marks and lasts 2 hours 40 minutes.

Local Language Proficiency Test
Provisionally selected candidates must pass a test of the local language of the state they applied for. However, candidates who studied that language in Class 10 or Class 12 are exempt if they show proof. The test has a non-verbal part (30 marks) and a verbal part (20 marks).

Salary of SBI Junior Associate
The starting basic pay is Rs 26,730 per month. This is Rs 24,050 plus two advance increments for graduates. According to SBI, the starting emoluments in a metro city like Mumbai are about Rs 46,000 per month, including DA and allowances. The pay scale is Rs 24050-1340/3-28070-1650/3-33020-2000/4-41020-2340/7-57400-4400/1-61800-2680/1-64480.
Selected candidates serve a probation of at least 6 months. SBI also keeps a wait list of up to 50% of vacancies, valid for one year from the final result.
