Age Limit for RRB NTPC Graduate 2026
The age limit is 18 to 33 years as on 1 January 2027. In addition, reserved categories and other eligible groups get age relaxation as per government rules. However, the PIB release does not list the number of years. Therefore, confirm your exact relaxation in the detailed CEN 06/2026.
Eligibility Criteria
All four posts need a degree from a recognised university or its equivalent. Some posts also carry extra conditions. Therefore, read the post-wise eligibility in CEN 06/2026 before you choose posts.
- Education: a degree from a recognised university or its equivalent.
- Typing: the typing skill test is waived for the two Typist posts. Basic computer and typing skills will be checked after joining.
- PwBD candidates: scribe and compensatory time are allowed as per rules.
- Medical examination: applies as per the post. Check the medical standard in the CEN before you give post preferences.
RRB NTPC Graduate 2026 Selection Process
Selection is purely on merit. Next, here are the stages in order, as stated by the Ministry of Railways:
- First-stage CBT (CBT-1): a common screening test.
- Second-stage CBT (CBT-2): the main merit test.
- Document Verification: original certificates are checked.
- Medical Examination: as applicable to the post.
