For LDC/JSA posts (codes L01 to L53), the cut-off is listed separately for each department. Please check your post code in the official PDF linked below.
How Ties Were Broken
When two candidates had equal marks, SSC used this order:
- Higher marks in Section-I of Tier-II.
- Higher marks in Tier-I.
- Older date of birth.
Also, the fresh ranks in the final result replace the ranks issued at the FRTA stage.
Name Not in the List? Your Next Options
Missing the final list can feel hard after clearing two tiers. However, you still have clear next steps.
- Check the withheld list: SSC has withheld the result of 3 candidates by roll number. Look for your roll number in the official notice.
- Wait for your marks: Once SSC uploads final marks, compare your score with the cut-off of your preferred post code. This will show how close you were.
- Prepare for CHSL 2026: As per SSC’s notice dated 1 October 2026, CHSL 2026 Tier-I is proposed from 30 November to 31 December 2026. So, there is limited time left.
- Keep your OTR updated: Wrong details in your profile can cause trouble at the verification stage.
Understanding Post Codes
Each post in the result carries a code. Codes starting with “L” are LDC/JSA posts in different departments. Codes starting with “D” are Data Entry Operator posts. Because each department has its own vacancy and merit, the cut-off can differ a lot between two codes of the same post. For example, the D54 UR cut-off was 211, while the D55 UR cut-off was 317.
What Happens After the SSC CHSL Final Result 2025?
- Document verification and joining: The department allotted to you will handle it, not SSC.
- Six-month rule: If you hear nothing from your department within six months, contact that department directly.
- No reserve list: SSC will not prepare a waiting list. Unfilled seats will be carried forward by departments.
- e-Dossier: Departments download dossiers through SSC’s e-dossier module only.
